This site contains a summary of the research we have done into our own specific family history.
Ultimately it will be made up of nine chapters representing the matriarchal and patriarchal lines plus a chapter on our grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles.
The reason there will be nine chapters, rather than six, is that our mother was adopted as an infant and we will be researching both her birth and adoptive families.
The chapters we have completed remain a work in progress and we would be grateful for any help, guidance and additional information those in our extended family would like to give.
We apologise for any errors in what we have compiled so far and will gladly correct them with your assistance.
The authors are happy to jump in a car or hop on a plane to travel in order to learn more.
Thank you for your interest in our family history project and please email whanauhistoryproject@gmail.com to get in touch.
